Kalyana Lakshmi Pathakam Details Online
Kalyana Lakshmi pathakam is new scheme introduced by KCR government in Telangana . This Kalyana Lakshmi Scheme was meant to provide some financial assistance to SC ST families while they are doing any marriage . In kalyana Laxmi scheme SC ST bride will get total money of Rs 51000 (Fifty One Thousand Rupees ) .
Kalyana Lakhsmi Pathakam
Kalyana Lakshmi Pathakam was started on 02.10.2014 ( Second October 2014) . Kalyana Lakshmi Pathakam main aim is to provide financial distress in the family at the time of Girl marriage . This is only applicable to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes .
Eligibility For Kalyana Lakshmi Scheme
(a) The Girl shall belong to SC/ST community.
(b) The Girl shall be a resident of Telangana State.
(c) The unmarried Girl should have completed 18 years of age at the time of Marriage.
(d) The Wedding of the SC/ST girl shall be on or after October 2, 2014.
Income Criteria:
(a) The combined income of the Parents shall not exceed Rs.2,00,000 per annum.
Reason Behind Kalyana Lakshmi Scheme
In 2002 tragedy was happened at Warangal District Mulugu Mandal Kodishala Kunta village Small Bhagya Thanda .
Scheduled Tribe Family named Banoth Krima nayak and Rukamma with 3 children’s Kalpana, Sunitha, and Kavitha.
Unfortunately due to electrical Short circuit in the house , Total house was fired along with the money of 40,000 rupees which is the amount kept aside to use for marriage of his children.
This news was spread all over Telangana . Finally its reached KCR . KCR felt sorry for the family and took the responsibility of the child marriage . KCR bared the total expense of that marriage .
From that time this was in KCR mind.Soon after he became Chief Minister of Telangana he introduced Kalyana Lakshmi to help financially weak families .
This was story behind Kalyana Lakshmi Pathakam Scheme for only Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) girls.
