Basara IIIT Admission 2023 Notification Online Application Details Status Check
Basara IIIT Admission 2023 notification has been released by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies – Basara on its official website https://www.rgukt.ac.in. Students who have passed the 10th class exams can check details and apply for TS RGUKT Admission at IIIT admission web portal https://www.admissions.rgukt.ac.in.
RGUKT Basar IIIT Admission: This year, Telangana State Government has given admission notification for filling up the Integrated B.Tech seats in RGUKT Basara for the academic year 2023-2024 and 10th class board exams results have been released on its web portal.
After announcement of 10th class results, separate admission notification has been issued for admission into various B.Tech Courses offered by RGUKT Basara. Filling up of seats, admission and counseling procedure in respect of B.Tech Courses offered by RGUKT will be as per the norms of RGUKT and the counseling for the said courses will be conducted by RGUKT.
Eligibility for TS RGUKT Admission:
- Candidates should have passed SSC (10th class) or any other equivalent examination recognized by the Governments of Telangana State & AP State and conducted in 2023 in first attempt.
- Candidates from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh should have appeared 10th class board exams for all category of seats except to Global category candidates.
- Candidates should not have completed 18 years of age as on 31.12.2023, whereas candidate belonging to SC and ST categories the upper age limit is 21 years.
- International students shall be of Indian Nationality / Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/ Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders.

Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT Telangana State) has given the notification for the Admissions to 6-Year Integrated B. Tech Program 2023-23 for admissions to the first year of Integrated B Tech Program 2023-23 will be based on merit in the Grade Point Average (GPA) and Grade Obtained in each subject and by the statutory reservations Of the State.
A deprivation score Of 0.4 prescribed by the Government for the year 2023-24 under Statute 13 (3) shall be added to the class GPA of those applicants who studied in non-residential Government Schools including the Zilla Parishad, Municipal Schools and the Model Schools with an objective or providing weightage to the socio-economically challenged students in the admission process.
At RGUKT, Basar. admissions to 85% Of the total available seats shall be reserved for the Local Candidates (Telangana State) and the remaining 15% Of the seats shall be On-reserved (these seats will be filled with both States Of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh students based on merit) as specified in the Presidential Order 371 Article D in consonance to Section 95 of the AP. RGUKT Basara Admission
At RGUKT Basara, admissions to 85% of the total available seats shall be reserved for the Local Candidates (Telangana State) and the remaining 15% of the seats shall be Unreserved (these seats will be filled with both the students of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh based on merit) as specified in the Presidential Order 371 Article D in consonance to Section 95 of the A.P. Reorganization Act, 2014.
Supernumerary seats to the extent of 5% are available under the Global Category for the students belonging to States other than Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and including the Children of Indians (all the States) working in Gulf Countries. The tuition fee for the Global Category is Rs.1,37,000/- per annum.
2% supernumerary seats are available for International / NRI students. The tuition fee is Rs.3,01,000/- per annum. Unfilled seats of Global Category (supernumerary) will be allocated to the local candidates (only for the TS) based on merit in 10th class exams by paying Rs.1,37,000/- per annum.
The Candidates of Telangana State who wish to apply for the Unfilled seats of Global category, their application will also be considered in the General category of admissions. There will be 1500 seats in the university. IIIT Basra Admissions are based on GPA in 10th class exams.
