AP TET 2025 dates are announced. The Andhra Pradesh Department of School Education had released the notification. Recently Supreme Court declared the judgment that those teachers who are in service must attend AP TET 2025 to continue their services as teachers.
The unemployed are waiting for the AP TET 2025 notification for many days. It’s the good news that the notification for both unemployed and existing teachers will be released soon. Those teachers who have been in service for more than 5 years must undergo the certification within 2 years.
Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test 2025 official website is tet2dsc.apcfss.in where you can download the official notification. To teach for 1 to 5 classes, eligible candidates can attend the AP TET 2025 paper 1 A and paper 1 B exams. Whereas to teach for 6 to 8 grades, eligible candidates must attend Paper 2 A and Paper 2 B exams. The Eligibility details are listed below. Check them and proceed to apply.
AP TET 2025 Exam will be conducted online with two papers. Paper 1 consists of 150 multiple-choice questions for 150 marks. It’s the same for Paper 2, but there will be a change in the exam Pattern. AP TET 2025 Eligibility
Qualification for Paper 1A
Intermediate with at least 50 % marks and also holding any one of the qualifications described in the points below can apply for AP TET 2025 Paper 1A Exam. This Exam is conducted for 1 to 5 grades teachers in regular schools.
- 2-year Diploma in elementary education.
- 2-year Diploma in special education.
- B.El.Ed
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and 2 2-year diploma in elementary education.
Minimum marks are at least 45% in Inter for SC/ST/BC/PH category Candidates
Qualification for Paper 1B
Candidates possessing any one of the qualifications listed below are eligible to apply for AP TET 2025 Paper 1B Exam for 1 to 5 grades teachers in elementary level special schools.
- Inter with at least 50% marks and D.Ed in special education.
- 1-year Diploma in special education
- Diploma in community-based Rehabilitation with 6 6-month certificate course in the education of children with special needs.
- PG Diploma in community-based Rehabilitation with 6 6-month certificate course in the education of children with special needs.
- Diploma in Multi-rehabilitation worker with 6 6-month certificate course in education of children with special needs.
- Junior Diploma in teaching the deaf.
- Primary level teacher training in visual impairment
- Diploma in vocational rehabilitation with 6 6-month certificate course in the education of children with special needs.
- Diploma in Hearing language and speech with 6 6-month certificate course in the education of children with special needs.
- Inter with any RCI recognized qualification of minimum 1 year and with 6 6-month certificate course in the education of children with special needs.
- Any other equivalent qualification approved by RCI.
Qualification for Paper 2A
For teaching classes 6 to 8, candidates must have an Inter with 50% marks and must also have any one of the following qualifications
- At least 50% marks in either Graduation or PG with B.Ed
- 4 years in B.El.Ed
- 4-year integrated BA/B.Sc or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1 year B.Ed in Special Education
- PG with 55% marks and 3 3-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed.
- Graduation with a concerned language as one of the optional subjects for Language Teachers.
Minimum marks are at least 40% in Graduation for SC/ST/BC/PH category Candidates
Qualification for Paper 2B
For teaching from classes 6 to 8 in special schools, Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications
- At least 50% marks either in Graduation or in PG with B.Ed Special Education
- B.Ed General with 1 year or 2 years of Diploma in special education.
- B.Ed General with PG professional Diploma in special education.
- B.Ed. Special Education and PG professional certificate in special education.
- PG Diploma in Special Education in Mental Retardation.
- PG Diploma in Special Education in Multiple Disability: Physical and Neurological.
- PG Diploma in Special Education in Locomotor Impairment and Cerebral Palsy.
- Secondary level teacher training course in Visual Impairment.
- Senior Diploma in teaching the Deaf.
- BA B.Ed in visual impairment
- Any other equivalent qualification approved by RCI.

AP TET 2025 Syllabus

Application Fee
- To attend the AP TET 2025 Exam, candidates must pay the application fee amount of Rs.750/- for paper 1 or paper 2.
- Those candidates who want to attend both papers must pay Rs.1500/-.
How to Apply for AP TET 2025
- For Registration, eligible candidates must visit the official portal: tet2dsc.apcfss.in
- Through the payment gateway, pay the application fee before the last date of fee payment.
- On receipt of the fee at APONLINE e-seva, a journal number will be issued by which you can process the application online.
- Candidates must scan and upload the passport-sized photograph with their signature below the photo.
- Enter all the required and mandatory fields accurately.
- Tick the declaration and enter the verification code.
- Preview all the details and submit the application form.
- A reference ID number will be displayed. Note it down or take a printout of the submitted application for further reference.
