Andhra Pradesh CM Jaganmohan Reddy in the cabinet meeting had announced about the Jagananna Vidya Deevena Fee Reimbursement Scheme. The new government had made changes in the eligibility for availing for the Fee Reimbursement. Eligible students are going to get Fee Reimbursement through Jagananna Vidya Deevena. SC, ST, BC, Kapu, EBC, Minorities, Disabled will be included as the beneficiaries of Jagananna Vidya Deevena. Under Jaganann Vidya Deevena complete fee reimbursement (RTF) will be offered for B.Tech, B.Pharmacy, M.Tech, M.Pharmacy, MBA, MCA, B.Ed courses.
The Budget for Fee reimbursement will be Rs.3,400 Crores where as it is only Rs.1800 Crores in the former Government. The former Government had given Rs.1800 crores for Fee reimbursement now it has been increased to Rs.3,400 Crores per year through Jaganann Vidya Deevena. There are 11,44,490 beneficiaries who are eligible to avail the benefits of the scheme. Due to the changes made in the eligibility criteria there may be increase in the number of beneficiaries.
Previously, Those students whose family income is Rs.2,00,000 are taken as eligible. But now there had increased the income criteria from Rs.2,00,000 to Rs.2,50,000/-. The students whose family income is less than Rs.2.5 Lakh can apply to avail for the Fee reimbursement Jaganann Vidya Deevena Scheme. Along with Jagananna Vasathi Deevena, Jagananna Vidya Deevena will also be implemented. The budget allocation of both the schemes is Rs.5,700 Crores.
Those who have 10 acres of wet land or who have 25 acres of dry land or those who had less than 25 acres of both wet and dry land are included to get the Jaganann Vidya Deevena Scheme. The sanitation workers are also included to get the Fee reimbursement without looking at the income criteria. The family who drive Taxi, Auto, Tractor are eligible for Jaganann Vidya Deevena Scheme. But who had car are not included to get Fee reimbursement. The Income Tax payeers are not eligible to apply for this scheme. This schemes is not applicable for those who own land of up to 1,500 square feet in cities. Students who study in Polytechnic, ITI, Degree or other courses in Government, aided, private, Affiliates, universities, Boards are eligible to get the Fee reimbursement through Jaganann Vidya Deevena Scheme. Deevena (MTF) Cards will be provided for the beneficiaries

Benefits of Jagananna Vidya Deevena
- Jaganann Vidya Deevena gives complete fee reimbursement (RTF) to the eligible students.
- Students can study well without worrying to pay the fees.

- Deevena (MTF) Cards will be provided for the beneficiaries

Eligibility for Jagananna Vidya Deevena Scheme
- Only the permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh state can avail for the scheme benefits.
- Those who have 10 acres of wet land or who have 25 acres of dry land or those who had less than 25 acres of both wet and dry land are included to get the Jaganann Vidya Deevena Scheme.
- No member should be Government employee or pensioner.
- The sanitation workers are also included to get the Fee reimbursement without looking at the income criteria.
- Family should not own 4 wheeler (Taxi, Auto, Tractors Exempted)
- The family who drive Taxi, Auto, Tractor are eligible for Jaganann Vidya Deevena Scheme.
- The Income Tax payee’s are not eligible to apply for this scheme.
- This schemes is not applicable for those who own land of up to 1,500 square feet in cities (municipal areas).
- Students who study in Polytechnic, ITI, Degree or other courses in Government, aided, private, Affiliates, universities, Boards are eligible to get the Fee reimbursement through Jaganann Vidya Deevena Scheme.
